I started working at Blake Morgan Solicitors when I was 17 and gained a position in the typing pool whilst completing my Business Administration Apprenticeship at a local college. After completing this I was lucky enough to be promoted to secretary in our personal injury team. This really opened my eyes to the diverse work lawyers carry out and fuelled my ambition to learn more. It wasn’t until I was in the secretarial role that I really found out about CILEX and started investigating. I knew that this was something that I wanted to do in order to further my knowledge and career. When I expressed an interest in undertaking my CILEX studies I was lucky enough for my employer to offer full funding.

I undertake a wide variety of work generally relating to international personal injury claims. I assist senior fee-earners within our travel team in relation to multi-million pound claims following severe orthopaedic and/or head injuries. In addition to this I have my own caseload of international personal injury claims.
