Three students following training courses through the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) have been chosen from more than 1½ million learners to receive a prestigious City & Guilds Medal for Excellence.
The City & Guilds Medals for Excellence programme rewards outstanding people: Only students whose dedication and talent enables them to produce work of an exceptional standard are eligible for the medals. This year, only 120 City & Guilds students in Britain received awards, including the following three students on ILEX courses who won medals for their legal studies:
- Alisha Berry from Croydon for her studies towards the ILEX Certificate for Legal Secretaries
- Sandra Cassidy from Newcastle for her studies leading to the ILEX Certificate in Vocational Paralegal studies
- Sonali Mitra, from Coventry also for her studies leading to the ILEX Certificate in Vocational Paralegal studies.
“This is a tremendous result for these three students,” said ILEX President, Lesley Graham.
”The City & Guilds Medals for Excellence recognise the very best students in the country.
To have three students who have undertaken ILEX courses win these prestigious Medals is proof that the links we have forged with City & Guilds, one of the top vocational training organisations in the country, is paying dividends, both in terms of the quality of our students and the quality of the courses we have designed for legal secretaries, paralegal and support staff. We are confident that these courses are the best on offer.”
