Timeframes and assessments
Training providers must register apprentices, providing provisional gateway dates, with CILEX a minimum of 6 months before the apprentice reaches the gateway. The EPA for this apprenticeship comprises two components:
- Portfolio of Evidence
- Case Study
It’s expected that the full EPA process will take approximately 16 weeks. Starting from the confirmed Gateway date and concluding with the release of the results. This timeframe ensures a thorough review and evaluation of both elements of the EPA.
EPA funding and fees
The financial aspect of this apprenticeship is in the capable hands of the employer. They will handle the administration and management of the funding, working alongside the training provider to ensure a strategic and effect programme of learning is designed, tailored to the specific goals and learning objectives of the apprenticeship.
