21.08 Criminal Procedure Committee Rules Part 76: Proposals to Consolidate and Revise the Rules about Costs
The Criminal Procedure Rule Committee is considering a proposal to consolidate and revise the rules about costs presently contained in Parts 61 and 78 of the Criminal Procedure Rules and in other legislation, practice directions and case law. The new rules would replace the present Parts 76, 77 and 78.
They would apply to the powers to make costs orders in criminal cases as described in the proposals. ILEX would be grateful for the views of those Legal Executive lawyers who have interest in the proposals.
